My main time is spent playing in Shotgun Politics, and we have just released our debut EP Broadcast
- Pill
- Mama’s girl (CD only, not online)
and much more is to come! check out http://blog.shotgun-politics.com for details!
Some of the songs on Patch Back Alleys and Loose Ends were written in BJ and some in HK
Marie Marie | I got to stay alive before I die | Lost at Sea | What kind of Hell is this | Kill the Witch and Burn the Village
and Radiohead’s Karma Police
And now here I am! In the New York of Asia - Hong KONG! The scene has grown leaps and bounds the last few years, and there is a slew of great bands performing here (check out links section for the scoop).
I am mainly playing for an awesome band called Shotgun Politics, and so far we have been able to record one EP (Broadcast) and played shows in and around town. Random stuff seems to happen these fellas and so far we have been interviewed/insulted by the lovely Radiodada, broken unbreakable equipment, almost had H1N1, screeeamed through our album Karaoke at our releasparty (haha!) and had our single Rebel Radio receiving air-time at an AM station in FLORIDA! Of all places!
I must admit that drums are taking up most of my time, and I have written very few songs as Patch the last year; but once in a while I try to put something together - if anything remotely listenable comes out I’ll let you know.
Big hugs in the mean time! Shoot me off a mail if you need anything, and you can always stay connected to the latest happenings via http://blog.shotgun-politics.com. <3!
